ARSS has been set up as a none profit making repository for Amateur Radio Software and associated products. ARSS makes a small charge per download to cover the costs of maintaining the site and hosting charges. Registered users will at some point  in the near future be able to upload there favourite programs for the use of other amateur radio enthusiasts provided it is original and dose not violate the licensing conditions laid down by the author.

We also hope this site will be used as a vehicle for software developers who want somewhere to publish their provisional software before It is made available as a commercial product.

We will at some future date be making available through this site commercial products and possibly amateur radio equipment this will then allow us to drop the download charges for all products except commercial software.
